We’re Alba and Carlos — a couple who, after many years immersed in the fast pace of the capital, decided to change not just our surroundings… but our perspective.
It wasn’t a romantic escape or an impulsive decision. We came to southern Chile for work, still carrying the structure of corporate life with us. But something in this land —its shifting skies, snow-covered volcanoes, cold lakes, and forests that smell like rain— slowly began to change us from within.
Living in Puerto Varas, right at the gateway to Patagonia, taught us to see differently: to slow down, to breathe deeply, to truly be present.
Today, as we approach our 50s, we’ve created KEIKRUK™ Outdoor Apparel as a deeply personal project. We don’t just want to design products for the outdoors — we want to invite you into a more meaningful relationship with nature. Because we’ve experienced firsthand that being close to the earth, the wind, and the water isn’t just beautiful — it’s healing. It reconnects you with yourself. It brings balance.
KEIKRUK™ was born from that conviction. It’s not a brand built from marketing ideas — it’s rooted in real life. Every design, every material, every detail is inspired by places we’ve explored or dreamed of, and by the emotion of wanting to carry a piece of that world with us. And we do it with care: we follow principles of responsible design, we reuse, reduce, and recycle. Because loving nature also means protecting it.
The name KEIKRUK™ comes from the sky. It’s the word used by the Selk’nam —the Indigenous people of the far south— to describe the “southern sky.” We took inspiration from that legacy to build a brand that doesn’t just make products, but tells stories: of the landscape, of the people who live there, and of those who seek something more than just a photo.
We believe you don’t have to travel to the ends of the earth to find something sacred. Sometimes it’s enough to walk into a forest, look up at the mountains, or sit quietly as the sun sets over the water. Our dream is for KEIKRUK™ to become a kind of travel companion — not just in the literal sense, but in the emotional one too. That our creations might inspire others to go out, to feel, to live more slowly and with greater awareness.
Thank you for being here. For being part of this beginning.
We dream of going far — and we hope you’ll come with us.
